User Management Setup

 

Introduction

The User Management Console consists of the following common objects which are currently used across all SmartSolve© solutions: SmartAuditTM, SmartCAPATM, SmartComplaintsTM, SmartDocTM, and SmartTrainTM.  The following Setup objects are grouped within the User Management Console:

User Rights

The following Rights must be assigned to a user to manage or view the User Management Console:

Must be assigned to administrator to access the User Management Console.

How to Access the User Management Console

The User Management Console is located under the Main Menu Setup option. When first entering the console, the administrator is sent directly to the Users folder which contains all Internal Actors, Persons, and Contacts that currently exist in the system. This is typically where administrators go to add new Users, or modify existing ones (i.e., to add Roles and/or Rights to the Users, etc.).

From the SmartSolve© tabs select Admin > User Management

User Management options display on the ribbon.

Select the appropriate User Management object.
